Job Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Full Stack development team. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of scalable web applications, leveraging Java for backend services and React for frontend interfaces. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, proven leadership experience, and thrives in a fast-paced product-driven environment. You will play a critical role in shaping our technical vision, fostering engineering excellence, and delivering high-quality, impactful software :


- Lead and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers across both backend (Java) and frontend (React) full-stack development, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

- Own the architecture, design, and end-to-end delivery of scalable web application solutions, ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and security requirements.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and drive the successful execution of the product roadmap.

- Ensure high standards of code quality, performance, and scalability are met through the implementation of best engineering practices, robust testing strategies, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Drive hiring, career development, and performance management for engineers within your team, cultivating a motivated and skilled workforce.

- Define and enforce engineering processes, including effective sprint planning, agile methodologies, and meticulous delivery tracking, to ensure predictability and efficiency.

- Proactively identify technical and process bottlenecks, recommend innovative solutions, and effectively remove blockers to ensure smooth project progression.

- Stay current with emerging technologies in Java, React, and broader web application development, strategically integrating relevant advancements into our tech :


- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a significant portion in leading full-stack development teams.

- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or in a similar leadership role.

- Strong technical background in Java for backend development (Spring Boot, Microservices).

- Strong technical background in React for frontend development (Redux, modern React hooks).

- Experience with designing and delivering scalable web applications.

- Solid understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns.

- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and practices.

- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
