Senior Backend Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to drive architectural direction and technical decisions, coach engineers, and ensure delivery of scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing coaching, career development, and performance feedback.
- Drive architectural direction and ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, and reliability goals.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into technical roadmaps.
- Oversee application design and delivery, ensuring clear documentation to support on-time, high-quality releases.
- Partner with senior engineers to create and optimize database schemas, queries, and models for performance and scalability.
- Maintain high engineering quality through best practices like automated testing, peer reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Facilitate technical planning, resource allocation, and prioritization to align with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have experience in software engineering, people management, and technical leadership, with a proven track record in building and scaling backend services and distributed systems.
Requirements:- Background in Java, Golang, Elixir, or Scala, with technical depth in database design, modeling, and optimization.
- Knowledge of modern development practices, including CI/CD, Git, containerization, and microservices architecture.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
