Job Description:Senior Program Officer - Academic Interface ProgramDepartment:Academic Interface ProgramLocation:TEPL, Kelamangalam, Hosur, Tamil NaduExperience Required:3-5 yearsEmployment Type:Retainer – 1 YearAbout the Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Program Officer to lead and manage our Academic Interface Program. This role serves to support and manage programs under AIP. AIP is helping drive our ‘grow our own timber’ philosophy to support creation of talent internally for Tata Electronics.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Management & Delivery - Plan, implement, and oversee the end-to-end execution of one/ multiple Programs across multiple units of Tata Electronics - Monitor program schedules, interact with AIP candidates for all their logistical and other operational requirements.Stakeholder Coordination - Coordinate between educational institution, faculty members, employees and other Tata Electronics team members (Plant HR, Operations, Quality and Technical teams) to ensure smooth functioning of the program - Ensure regular response and facilitation with AIP candidates about the program requirements and other logistics - Coordinate with logistics teams to manage movement and travel arrangements for students and faculty - Manage accommodation, transportation and on-ground arrangements for program participants (during campus immersion, if required for the program) - Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies during all academic interactionsData Management and Classroom sessions - Maintain comprehensive databases of partner institutions, participants and other program metrics (including reports and dashboards for review) to generate actionable insights Classroom facilitation -Ability to facilitate and handle sessions for students of BSc, Diploma evaluation of learning diaries -Monitor meetings and terms and conditions for MOUs with universities and DOTE -Monitor cost budget vs actual monthly. -Maintain of Discipline of participants under AIP programs -Monitor and maintain performance of students regularlyRequired QualificationsEducation - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering preferredExperience - 3-5 years of relevant experience in program management, academic relations, campus recruitment or training & development - Prior experience in manufacturing industries like semiconductor/electronics/automotive industries, is highly desirable - Proven track record of managing multi-stakeholder programsLanguage Proficiency (Essential) - Fluent in Tamil and English (written and spoken) - Mandatory - Knowledge of Hindi and Kannada is a strong advantageTechnical Skills - Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or training platforms is a plus - Comfortable with virtual collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.)Key Competencies:Core Skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse audiences - Strong project management capabilities with attention to detail - Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment - Problem-solving mindset with proactive approach to challenges - High degree of professionalism and stakeholder management skills - Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team - Adaptable and flexible to travel as required - Passionate about education, talent development and social impactDomain Knowledge - Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards - Awareness of academic curriculum and industry skill gap areas - Knowledge of corporate training methodologies and adult learning principles
