Ajnalens is seeking a Firmware Engineer with deep expertise in embedded audio software development, especially in Bluetooth audio technologies.

Youll work closely with our hardware and product teams to bring high-performance audio experiences to life in our next-gen wearable and immersive tech solutions.


Minimum Work Experience Required :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware development, specifically for audio and Bluetooth technologies.


Top 3 Daily Tasks :

- Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware for Bluetooth audio devices, ensuring low latency and high audio fidelity.

- Integrate and test audio codecs, Bluetooth profiles, and third-party SDKs across multiple platforms.

- Debug and analyze performance using tools such as Bluetooth sniffers, oscilloscopes, and IDE-based profilers.


Top 5 Skills You Should Possess :

- Embedded C/C++ Programming : Strong experience with real-time embedded systems and audio processing.

- Bluetooth Audio Expertise : Deep knowledge of profiles like A2DP, HFP, AVRCP, BLE (HAP, TMAP, HAS), and features like AoA, AoD, Beamforming.

- Audio Codec Integration : Familiarity with SBC, AAC, aptX, LC3, and compression algorithms.

- Low-Power System Design : Skills in optimizing firmware for energy efficiency.

- Hardware Interface Protocols : Proficiency in I2S, UART, SPI, and integrating audio components (mic/speaker/amp).


What Would You Be Expected to Do :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize Bluetooth audio firmware on embedded platforms.

- Ensure compliance with Bluetooth SIG standards and handle BLE profile integration.

- Work with audio peripherals and hardware interfaces (e.g., I2S) for seamless audio signal transmission.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and fine-tune audio quality, including latency, jitter, and power performance.

- Use tools such as Bluetooth sniffers for debugging, and follow CI/CD workflows for clean code deployment.


Preferred Technical Exposure :

- SDKs from Nordic (nRF52), Qualcomm (CSR), Broadcom.

- ANC/ENC algorithm integration.

- Agile development, Git-based workflows, automated testing, and documentation best practices.
