DailyRounds is a healthcare startup focused on organizing "Knowledge of practice of Medicine" and building a community of Doctors (and healthcare professionals). We hold the largest IP (intellectual property) in clinical medicine in India. We hope to put this IP, network, and our best efforts to help Doctors improve how they diagnose and treat. We are a diverse team of 300 people based in Bangalore.
We are product-driven. We believe businesses should scale and be profitable. We avoid fads and focus on what makes business sense, what can scale, and what can make a positive impact (in that order).
In April 2019 M3 India, the Indian subsidiary of Japanese Healthtech company M3 (one of the largest healthcare networks globally, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange), picked up a majority stake in DailyRounds to foray into case-based problem-solving, community platform, and medical test preparation business in India.
What This Role Is About
We're seeking a strategic HR leader who can do more than run processes. You'll design the very backbone of how we work, lead, grow, and stay true to who we are-even as we scale. This is not a compliance-first role. It's for someone who can architect the people engine of a product-first company.
What You'll Do
Org Design: Restructure for speed and clarity. You'll shape org charts to reflect how we build and win.
Culture, Codified: Marrow already has a strong culture. Your job is to protect it, scale it, and make it visible through rituals and systems, not HR newsletters.
Leadership Development: Coach mid-level leaders to step up. Build processes that scale judgment, not just skills.
Performance Systems: Move beyond appraisal cycles. Build a feedback-first, outcome-driven environment.
Talent Strategy: Partner with the CEO and leadership to align hiring, development, and rewards to company bets.
What We're Looking For?
- Someone with an experience of 10-15 years, who's built HR in a high-growth product company, ideally from ~100 to 500+.
- Experience designing and owning org-wide performance, culture, and leadership systems.
- Strong operator mindset. You can take a messy org problem, dissect it, and ship a solution.
- Not a brand ambassador. A real builder with high trust, high judgment, and skin in the game.
What You're Not?
- A compliance-first HRBP.
- Someone who talks culture but can't design for it.
- Obsessed with vanity metrics like "engagement scores" without tying them to action.
- This role isn't for everyone. It's for someone who sees HR as a strategic weapon.
