Department: Plasticizers Location: Mumbai
About Us: Founded in 1992 by the Dhanuka group, in technical collaboration with Lurgi GambH, Germany; today, we are the largest producer of PAN (Phthalic Anhydride) in the country. We command about 55% market share in India. (PAN) is used in manufacturing plasticizers, which are most essential in making PVC products, shoe soles, cables, pipes, hoses, leather cloth, films for packaging and other products. It is also used to manufacture alkyd resins used in paints and in the production of unsaturated polyester resins for building materials, plastic products, textile industries and printing inks.
We are a publicly listed company, both on BSE and NSE. We have 4 plants of PAN at Taloja, Navi Mumbai and HO at Nariman Point, Mumbai. Currently we manufacture 222,110 MTPA of PAN which will increase to 275,110 MTPA with the 5th Plant, a brownfield expansion expected by
2024.
Key Responsibilities:
Raw material sourcing: (Weightage 20% of the total profile)
- Establish strong relationship with all suppliers of raw materials for plasticizer production.
- Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for ensuring availability of raw materials at lowest total cost of ownership within agreed inventory norms.
Supply Chain: (Weightage 20% of the total profile)
- Ensure logistics cost is managed within the best in class for both inbound and outbound materials.
- Ensure OTIF (on-time in full) at agreed norms.
Sales and marketing (Weightage 60% of the total profile)
- Our production will be 6000 tons per month
- Oversee sales and marketing of plasticizers.
- Build team as required with due approvals from the management.
- Build relationship with major customers.
- Ensure timely order booking, dispatches and payments with compliance to all stator and internally agreed requirements.
MIS and intelligence on all above Experience & Desirables:
- Graduate/post graduate from a reputed institute.
- Minimum 15 years in sales department with exposure to purchasing of key raw materials.
- Key account management skills are crucial for the role.
- Team player.
- Past experience in sourcing of key raw materials of plasticizer is mandatory.
- Past experience in sales of plasticizers is desirable.
- Sales experience of related products like paste grade PVC can be considered.
- Should have handled sales of minimum 500 Cr per year.
