Role : Gitlab AdministrationExperience level : 6+ yearsWork mode : Work from officeLocation : BangaloreNotice period : 0-30 daysPrimary Skills : Gitlab Global configuration experience, Very good Python scripting and python programming Job Description :Key Responsibilities :- Design, implement, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines to support development and deployment workflows.- Work on GitLab application global configurations and advanced integrations.- Implement Configuration as Code for scalable and repeatable setups.- Enable and manage secret scanning across all repositories to ensure code security.- Automate security checks and enforce measures to protect against vulnerabilities in repositories.- Collaborate with development teams to streamline CI/CD processes and improve efficiency.- Develop Python-based automation scripts for integrations, monitoring, and enhancements.Required Skills :- Strong expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipeline development and administration.- Proficiency in Python programming for automation and tool integration.- Experience with global GitLab configurations and integrations.- Hands-on knowledge of secret scanning and vulnerability management within GitLab.- Ability to design and automate secure workflows in alignment with DevSecOps practices.- Proficiency in Python scripting and working with REST APIs for automation.Nice to Have :- Familiarity with container technologies (Docker).- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).- Knowledge of additional DevOps tools (JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins, etc.Soft Skills :- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Ability to work independently and provide leadership in DevOps best practices (ref:hirist.tech)
