The Senior Specialist, FP&A will play a crucial role and will be responsible for providing financial planning, analysis and reporting for Corporate, a business, or a P&L within a business.

Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.

Stays informed of industry trends that may influence work.

What Youll Do.

Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to provide support to business leaders by delivering insightful data reporting, financial analysis, and management information systems (MIS) reporting.

This role will involve working closely with leadership teams to gather, analyze, and present data that drives strategic decisions, financial planning, and operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities.

Data Reporting & Analysis:.

- Generate and manage routine and ad-hoc reports based on business, financial, and operational data.

- Prepare and present key business metrics, performance indicators, and financial analyses to senior leaders.

- Analyze data trends to identify business opportunities, risks, and areas for operational improvement.

- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in reporting.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:.

- Assist in preparing financial reports and forecasts, including budget analysis, variance reporting, and cost-benefit analysis.

- Analyze financial data and highlight key findings to guide decision-making.

- Collaborate with the finance team to track revenue, expenses, and other financial KPIs.

- Support in the development of financial models and forecasts to help business leaders with planning and budgeting.

Management Information Systems (MIS):.

- Support the preparation and management of MIS reports for internal stakeholders.

- Design and automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Provide business leaders with insights from MIS data, helping to optimize business operations and decision-making.

Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Monitoring:.

- Assist in developing and maintaining dashboards to track KPIs across departments.

- Monitor business performance and identify areas that require attention or improvement.

- Provide regular updates and recommendations based on KPI data to improve performance and achieve business goals.

Cross-Departmental Coordination:.

- Work closely with cross-functional teams (finance, marketing, operations, sales) to collect and integrate data for reporting purposes.

- Help standardize data collection processes to ensure consistency across various departments.

- Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding data-related queries and reporting needs.

Process Improvement:.

- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of reporting and analysis processes.

- Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting methods to enhance operational efficiency.

- Implement new reporting tools, technologies, or methodologies to support business goals.

Data Visualization & Presentation:.

- Design visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards and reports to effectively communicate data findings to business leaders.

- Use advanced tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) to create reports and presentations that highlight key Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, etc.) are a 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, financial analysis, or MIS reporting.

- Hands-on experience with data analysis, financial reporting, and MIS system management.

- Prior experience working with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, etc.) is highly desirable.

- Experience in preparing financial models, reports, and data presentations for senior leadership Proficiency:.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, etc.) and experience with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.

- Understanding of database systems, SQL, and financial modeling.

- Familiarity with financial reporting and performance management tools.

Analytical Skills:.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data in a clear, actionable format.

- Ability to work with large datasets and generate meaningful insights.

Attention to Detail:.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail when working with financial and business data.

Communication Skills:.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to prepare concise, compelling reports and presentations for leadership teams.

- Ability to analyze business problems, propose solutions, and deliver insights that drive strategic Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, collaborating with colleagues across departments.
