Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:

- Perform regular system monitoring and maintenance to ensure high availability and optimal performance of SAP systems.

- Manage SAP system landscape, including installation, configuration, and upgrading of SAP servers and clients.

- Handle SAP system refreshes and client copies.

System Performance:

- Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of SAP systems.

- Monitor and analyze system performance, usage, and capacity to recommend improvements.

User Management:

- Manage user accounts, roles, and authorizations to ensure secure access to SAP systems.

- Implement and enforce SAP security policies.

Backup and Recovery:

- Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems.

- Ensure regular backups are taken and validate the integrity of backup data.

Patch Management:

- Apply patches and updates to SAP systems to ensure they are up to date and secure.

- Plan and execute SAP system upgrades and migrations.

Technical Support:

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP-related issues.

- Coordinate with SAP support for resolving complex technical Maintain comprehensive documentation of SAP system configurations, processes, and procedures.

- Document changes and updates to the SAP environment.

Project Involvement:

- Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects.

- Work closely with functional consultants to support new business requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4 to 5 years of experience as an SAP BASIS Consultant.

- Strong knowledge of SAP BASIS administration, including system installation, configuration, and maintenance.

- Experience with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and other SAP systems.

- Proficiency in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system optimization.

- Familiarity with SAP security concepts and user management.

- Experience with backup and recovery strategies and tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Ability to travel to client locations across India as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP BASIS certification.

- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for SAP systems.

- Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or HANA.
