Hiring: Head – Key Account Delivery & Customer Success | Solar Utility O&M (Mumbai)
A rapidly growing, investor-backed renewable energy company is looking to hire a senior leader to manage one of its most strategic customer portfolios. This is not a typical BD or KAM role. This is a hybrid P&L, delivery, and customer success leadership mandate.
The company is a 10-year-old premium O&M services and analytics provider in the solar utility sector, managing over 1.2 GW of assets for top infrastructure and IPP clients. With deep investment in technology, field operations, and analytics, they are now expanding their leadership layer to scale further.
Role Title: Head – Key Account Delivery & Customer Success
Location: Mumbai (full-time, on-site)
Travel: 10–15 days/month across India
CTC Range: ₹25–35 LPA plus performance incentives
Reports To: Co-Founders
Key Responsibilities:
- Own delivery, retention, and growth of one or more large customer accounts valued at ₹14–20 Cr.
- Ensure on-ground SLA adherence, operational excellence, and account-level profitability.
- Build and maintain CXO relationships with top infrastructure and IPP clients.
- Lead a cross-functional team comprising technical, operational, and coordination staff.
- Develop systems, dashboards, SOPs, and review rhythms to ensure consistent service quality and scalability.
- Act as the internal bridge between customers, field teams, analytics, product, and software divisions.
Candidate Profile Must-Haves:
- 8 to 15 years of experience in solar O&M, infrastructure services, or utility delivery operations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large multi-state customer portfolios.
- Hands-on leadership style with strong accountability for delivery and profitability.
- Ability to engage both CXO-level clients and field teams with equal ease.
- Based in Mumbai or willing to relocate.
Preferred:
- Exposure to clients like ReNew, CleanMax, Azure, or similar infra/IPP players.
- Strong understanding of solar plant performance, analytics, and service SLAs.
- Prior P&L responsibility with experience in cost optimization and renewals.
