About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our fintech team. The role involves driving business growth by managing distribution development, building strong relationships with universities/colleges, and ensuring seamless finance penetration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, excellent relationship management skills, and the ability to lead and inspire teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Distribution Development:
  • Identify and onboard universities/colleges to expand the fintech product’s presence.
  • Strategize and execute plans to build a strong distribution network within the education sector.
  1. Relationship Management:
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with university/college stakeholders to drive business opportunities.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and educational institutions, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
  1. Business Growth & Finance Penetration:
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase finance penetration in the assigned regions.
  • Analyze market trends to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product, operations, and marketing teams to streamline business processes and enhance product offerings.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address client needs effectively.
  1. Team Management:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to upskill the team and improve productivity.
  1. Regular Business Operations:
  • Monitor and ensure achievement of sales targets on a regular basis.
  • Prepare and present periodic sales performance reports to leadership.
  1. Process Optimization:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all business activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in sales, preferably in fintech or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and the education sector.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage and grow relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office.
