Senior Database Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Database Architect/Lead Developer specializing in Netezza and Oracle databases.


We are looking for freelancers for this role who will be available between 11-8 PM.

Please not this is a permanent remote opportunity.

Exp- 7-12 Years.


The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing,

and maintaining database solutions that meet the needs of

our organization. This role requires strong technical

expertise in both Netezza and Oracle platforms, as well as

leadership capabilities to guide a team of developers.

Responsibilities

 Design and implement efficient database solutions for our

organization, leveraging Netezza and Oracle technologies.

 Lead a team of developers in the implementation and

maintenance of database systems.

 Collaborate with other stakeholders to gather requirements

and define database architecture to meet business needs.

 Optimize database performance through indexing, query

optimization, and other performance tuning techniques.

 Develop and enforce data standards and best practices to

ensure data integrity and security.

 Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior

developers.

 Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution.

 Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in

database management and architecture.

Skills and Qualifications

 Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information

Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

 8+ years of total experience.

 Minimum of 5 years of experience in database architecture

and development, with a focus on Netezza and Oracle.

 Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming languages.

 Strong understanding of database design principles and data

modeling techniques.

 Experience with database performance tuning and

optimization.

 Excellent communication and leadership skills.

 Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and

manage multiple priorities.

 Relevant certifications in Netezza and Oracle technologies

are a plus.
