Profile – Senior Database Architect
Preferred experience – 10+ years
The Role:
As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for defining the data requirements and structure for the application. Your typical day will involve modeling and designing the application data structure, storage, and integration using your expertise in Data Architecture Principles
Key Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality database solutions.
Hands-on development, implementing procedures and functions
Develop data models
Research required data.
Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables.
Develop procedures and scripts for data migration, ETL, data processing
Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
Requirements:
10+ years of relevant experience
Must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in Data Management Implementations
Strong prior experience with Microsoft SQL Server Architecture Implementation
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Architecture. Database design and modeling
Strong Prior experience in RDBMS, Database language.
Strong experience in SQL language, including DDL, views, stored procedures, T-SQL, etc.
Demonstrable experience in developing Microsoft SSIS packages for data integration.
Strong understanding of data modeling principles and techniques, including normalization (3rd normal form) and denormalization.
Familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts, such as star schema and snowflake schema.
Experience in optimizing data models for performance and query efficiency.
Familiarity with data visualization tools, preferably Tableau, but also open to experience with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, QlikView, or similar tools.
Knowledge of SQL Server database administration, including performance tuning, security, and maintenance.
Worked on Data Management projects with large data volumes.
Well-versed with Design and code reviews to ensure standards and quality level for the build
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate & work with fellow team members and other functional team members to coordinate & meet deliverables.
Strong analytical Skills
Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript, web technologies
