As a Snowflake data engineer for “Enterprise Analytics (EA)” team, your responsibilities will include:

• Data Warehousing: Design, develop, and maintain data structures that facilitate efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval in an enterprise data warehouse (EDW).

• SQL: Proficiently create, debug, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and views to ensure data accuracy and availability.

• Python: Leverage Python for scripting and automation tasks, enhancing data workflows and processes.

• Data Modeling: Efficiently design data pipelines by understanding the project needs and creating Source to Target Mappings (STTM), Technical Specs with a scalable & performant architecture in Snowflake.

• Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and integrity by validating and cleansing data, identifying and resolving anomalies, and implementing data quality checks.

• Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

• Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and best practices.

• Strong experience with Snowflake data warehousing is a must. Experience with DW tools like SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA is a value add.

• Strong proficiency in SQL programming, including the ability to create and debug stored procedures, functions, and views.

• Experience with Airflow and Tableau is nice to have.

• Experience with Python for scripting and automating asks is preferred.

• Self-motivated and eager to take ownership of projects.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
