URC Construction (P) Ltd is HIRING.Position:HVAC Design Engineer Qualification:B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Experience:5 to 12 Years Project Nature:Commercial / Residential / IndustrialRoles & ResponsibilitiesPerformheat load calculationsusing software tools such as HAP and Carrier E20. Select and sizeAHUs, FCUs, VRF systems, chillers, pumps, ducts,andpiping networksas per project requirements. Determineairflow (CFM), static pressure, and duct sizingbased on ASHRAE and ISHRAE standards. Designventilation systems(toilets, kitchens, basements, labs, etc.) ensuring proper exhaust and make-up air provisions. Prepare and reviewHVAC layout drawings, schematics, and as-built drawingsusing AutoCAD or Revit. Coordinate HVAC design witharchitectural, electrical, plumbing, and structuraldisciplines. PrepareBill of Quantities (BOQ) , equipment schedules, and material submittals. Support project and site teams withtechnical clarifications, design modifications, and coordination drawings. Conductsite visitsto ensure installation aligns with design intent. Participate inclient and consultant meetingsfor design review and approvals. Ensure HVAC designs comply withASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, ECBC,andlocal authority norms. Integrateenergy-efficient, acoustic, and indoor air quality (IAQ)considerations in all designs. Maintain proficiency inAutoCAD, HAP, Duct Sizer, Pipe Sizer, and MS Office tools.Key Result AreasDeliver100% technically compliantHVAC designs within defined timelines. Maintainpost client or consultant review. Ensure100% coordinationbetween HVAC and other engineering disciplines.
