Role OverviewWe are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Finance Controller / Finance Lead to oversee the organization’s end-to-end finance function. This role involves leading financial reporting, treasury operations, loan and fund management, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), foreign remittances, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with significant experience in the trading, broking, or capital markets domain, possessing a strong background in financial control, large-scale fund management, and cross-border financial operations.Key Responsibilities- Preparation of financial reporting for the multiple entities including annual reporting - Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for international entities - Oversee intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and foreign currency translations - Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls - Involvement in cash management and managing the group’s liquidity and FX exposures - Collaborate and execute day-to-day accounting activities - Liaise with external auditors - Drive standardization, harmonization and automation of finance processes across subsidiaries - Establish and develop relations with a diversity of stakeholders on several levelsYour Skills and Experience:- Academic degree in Economics, Finance or equivalent with 5-10 years’ relevant work experience with accounting qualification (RA) - Big4 audit experience is a plus - Proven hands-on experience in financial control, preferably within the financial industry - Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements - Deep understanding of consolidation of international entities (multi-entity, multi-currency, multi-GAAP environments) - Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and investigate complex issues - Proven ability to successfully identify, drive, and implement process and internal control improvements.
