Position Overview:As a Product Manager, you will drive the success of tax and finance technology products throughout their lifecycle.You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define and execute the product strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market plans.Your expertise in tax compliance, finance workflows, and emerging technologies will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative, customer-centric solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy and Vision- Define the product strategy and vision based on market research, customer insights, and business objectives.- Identify market opportunities, analyze competitive landscapes, and drive product innovation and differentiation.Roadmap Planning and Prioritization- Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap aligned with business goals.- Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.Requirements Gathering and Documentation- Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, sales, and engineering teams, to gather and document product requirements.- Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications with precision.Cross-Functional Collaboration- Work closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.- Facilitate effective communication, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment across all functions.Agile Product Development- Lead agile development processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.- Drive iterative product improvements through collaboration with development teams.Product Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, collaborating with marketing and sales teams on messaging, positioning, pricing, and sales enablement.- Coordinate successful product launches to ensure widespread adoption.Product Performance Analysis- Monitor product performance metrics, analyze customer feedback, and assess market trends.- Use data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and optimization.Customer Advocacy- Act as the voice of the customer, conducting user research and advocating for customer-centric product decisions.- Foster relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with customer 8+ years of experience in product management roles, preferably within tax, finance technology, or SaaS platforms.- Proven track record in launching and scaling complex, regulated technology Strong knowledge of tax compliance systems and finance workflows.- Proficiency in product management tools, user story mapping, and prototyping.- Familiarity with agile methodologies and product development processes.- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder Bachelors degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree Familiarity with AI, IoT, or automation technologies within the tax or finance domain.
