Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager - Accounts to lead and oversee the financial accounting, reporting, and compliance activities of the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to drive financial strategies aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management and Reporting:
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  1. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and fostering professional development.
  • Allocate tasks effectively and ensure the team meets deadlines with high accuracy.
  1. Compliance and Audit:
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and regulatory submissions.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
  1. Strategic Planning and Analysis:
  • Contribute to financial planning and strategy formulation to support organizational growth.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
  1. System and Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements in accounting operations.
  • Implement best practices in financial systems and internal controls.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in finance, including senior roles such as Senior Manager of Finance.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with international stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in international contexts.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and growth.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in managing accounts for mid-to-large-scale organizations.
  • Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Exposure to international financial reporting standards (IFRS) is a plus.
