Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager specializing in External/Internal Lighting to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background in the automotive industry and a proven track record in product management, particularly with connected car technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Vision:
- Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for external and internal automotive lighting systems.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product strategy with business objectives.
Product Development:
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Work closely with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to develop innovative lighting solutions.
- Define product requirements, specifications, and performance criteria.
Market Analysis and Research:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for new product development and enhancements.
- Analyze customer feedback, sales data, and industry trends to continuously improve product offerings.
Project Management:
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful product launches.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and external partners to achieve project goals.
Customer and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product-related inquiries.
- Provide training and support to sales and marketing teams to effectively communicate product value Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Automotive, Electrical, or Mechanical 8-10 years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on product management.
- Proven experience in developing and managing external and internal lighting systems for vehicles.
- Strong understanding of connected car technologies and their integration with lighting systems.
