Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Lead Generator to join our software services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities by leveraging multiple lead generation strategies. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to build a strong pipeline of qualified leads that convert into long-term clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients in target industries for software development, IT consulting, and digital transformation services.
- Use channels such as Apollo, LinkedIn, email campaigns, CRM tools, industry directories, and networking events to generate qualified leads.
- Develop and maintain a database of prospects, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Conduct initial outreach (cold calls, emails, social selling) to engage prospects and understand their business needs.
- Qualify leads based on defined criteria (budget, authority, need, timeline).
- Schedule appointments and hand over qualified opportunities to the sales team.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and refine lead generation campaigns.
- Track and report lead generation activities, conversion rates, and pipeline growth using CRM systems.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and market shifts to identify new opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience (2–4 years) in lead generation, business development, or inside sales within the IT/software services industry.
- Strong understanding of software services such as custom software development, web/mobile app development, cloud solutions, and IT consulting.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage decision-makers.
- Strong research skills and ability to identify high-quality leads.
- Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet targets.
- Experience working with international clients (US, Europe, APAC).
- Familiarity with outbound and inbound lead generation strategies.
- Knowledge of digital marketing fundamentals (SEO, content marketing, PPC) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
