We are seeking an accomplished professional to join our team as a Zonal Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and fostering strategic partnerships within the Bancassurance sector. They will spearhead sales efforts, cultivate relationships with Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), and lead the sales team towards achieving ambitious targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute robust sales strategies tailored to the Bancassurance segment, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and acquisitions, participating in strategic decision-making processes.
  • Onboard new partners (MFIs and NBFCs) and maintain strong relationships with these MFIs, NBFCs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate closely with sales representatives to generate and capitalize on prospective leads, ensuring consistent pipeline growth.
  • Monitor and analyse sales activities, tracking performance metrics and reporting insights to senior management.
  • Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure seamless coordination and implementation of sales initiatives.
  • Resolve customer complaints and service issues promptly, maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities, leveraging insights to refine sales strategies and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Drive innovation in sales techniques and product offerings to enhance customer value and market competitiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • More than 10 years of work experience with a proven track record in Bancassurance sales, with extensive experience in MFIs and NBFCs.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities, with a focus on driving team performance and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with a knack for problem-solving and strategic decision-making.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Customer-centric approach with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Prior experience in managing sales teams and maintaining fruitful relationships with leads.
  • Familiarity with insurance products, particularly in healthcare services, is highly desirable.
