Responsibilities:


• Contribute operational expertise as an essential member of the DevOps team, collaborating to enhance overall system performance and reliability.

• Architect, deploy, and maintain dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and secure applications in diverse environments, spanning both on-premises and multi- cloud setups.

• Design and engineer secure networking infrastructure to support hybrid-cloud applications, ensuring robustness and reliability.

• Evaluate, design, and implement secure cloud alternatives using SaaS/PaaS/IaaS solutions for engineering applications, ensuring optimal functionality and security.

• Develop and manage automation scripts for configuration management, application deployment, system provisioning, network infrastructure, monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation.

• Oversee VMware infrastructure and manage resources across GCP, Azure, and AWS cloud platforms.

• Guarantee high availability of critical applications while adhering to and surpassing Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

• Document all infrastructure processes and procedures to ensure comprehensive knowledge sharing and continuity.

• Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for company laptops.

• Comprehend and address resiliency and security requirements to effectively manage infrastructure, associated data, and access controls.

• Install, configure, and administer ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as Informatica, DataStage, etc., on Unix and Windows platforms.

• Administer, monitor, and deploy systems and services in adherence to internal standards, external accrediting agency requirements, and legal standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent field.

• Extensive hands-on technical experience focused on the development, implementation, security, and administration of cloud and on-premises systems.

• Proven track record in designing, delivering, and maintaining cloud-based systems on platforms such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and others.

• Proficient technical experience as a Linux/Windows System Administrator, handling day-to-day operations and maintenance.

• Profound technical expertise in container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, etc., demonstrating practical application and implementation.

• Hands-on experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code tools, including CloudFormation, Terraform, and ARM Templates, for efficient system management and provisioning.

• Technical proficiency in orchestration and configuration management tools like Ansible, streamlining deployment and management processes.

• In-depth knowledge of build/release systems, CI/CD pipelines, including expertise in tools like Jenkins, Groovy pipelines, and the development of declarative pipelines.

• Excellent scripting skills with Python, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, etc., for automation and system optimization.

• Strong understanding of IP routing, VLANs, and Access Control Lists, ensuring robust network configuration and security.

• Experience in managing and provisioning employee laptops, along with implementing Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, is advantageous.

• Deep comprehension of TCP, UDP, SSL/TLS protocols, enabling secure and efficient data transmission.

• Proficiency in supporting and utilizing collaborative tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, and Confluence for streamlined project management and documentation.
