Job Title: SQL Consultant

Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Yelahanka – Landmark: after Mall of Asia / towards Airport Road)

Primary Skills: Azure, SQL, RESTful APIs

Experience Required:

  • Total: 5–7 years
  • Relevant: 4–6 years (more preferred)

Salary: Up to 12–15 LPA (depending on profile)

Joining Requirement: Immediate to max 2 weeks post selection

Interview Process: 2 rounds (both virtual)

Work Regime: Hybrid (Monday & Friday – WFH, Tuesday to Thursday – from office)

Job Description

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain stored procedures, queries, and scripts for enterprise-grade Postgres SQL and/or MS SQL.
  • Ensure performance, integrity, and security of database systems supporting critical business applications.
  • Leverage RESTful APIs effectively and use Postman for testing and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions aligned with business needs.
  • Support database deployment, migrations, and upgrades, particularly in Azure cloud environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Document database processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Implement database backups, recovery strategies, and high availability.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning.

  • Enable effective API integration with the application stack.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend and backend developers for robust, scalable, and secure deployments.

  • Strong experience with RESTful APIs and Azure cloud database products.
