We are seeking a seasoned Engineering / Technical Manager to lead our Network Automation Engineering team. This role combines deep technical expertise in network automation with strong people leadership. You will be responsible for driving automation strategy, mentoring engineers, and ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure network operations across our global :

The candidate will have responsibilities across the following functions :

Technical Leadership :

- Define and execute the network automation roadmap aligned with business goals.

- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of automation solutions using tools like Python, Ansible, Netmiko, and REST APIs.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Cloud, Security) to integrate automation into broader IT workflows.

- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of automated network systems.

People Management :

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of network automation engineers.

- Conduct regular 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and career development planning.

- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Manage team capacity, hiring, and onboarding of new talent.

Operational Excellence :

- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Drive standardization and documentation of automation workflows.

- Monitor KPIs and metrics to measure the impact and efficiency of automation efforts.

Requirements :

The candidate will have requirements to cross the following functions :

Technical Skills :

- 8 years in network engineering, with 3 years in automation.

- Strong proficiency in Python and automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible, NAPALM).

- Experience with multi-vendor environments and APIs (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Understanding of network protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, etc.).

Leadership Skills :

- Proven experience managing technical teams (3 years).

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to coach and develop engineers at various skill levels.

- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
