Key Account Manager – Automotive Clients

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Key Account Manager to manage and nurture relationships with major automotive customers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for business growth, contract negotiations, stakeholder management, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation skills, and the ability to drive cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Business Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key automotive customers.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships to drive business growth.
- Act as a bridge between internal teams and customers to ensure smooth communication and project execution.
Sales & Business Development
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and agreement closures with key automotive clients.
- Identify new business opportunities to expand product adoption and revenue.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions based on customer needs and requirements.
Stakeholder & Internal Coordination
- Work closely with engineering, supply chain, production, and finance teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Drive internal teams to meet response deadlines and deliverables.
- Manage and resolve customer grievances and escalations effectively.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and analyze key account performance, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Prepare regular MIS reports for senior management, highlighting customer expectations, gaps, and resolutions.
- Monitor receivables and payment cycles, ensuring timely collections.
Qualifications & Skills
Required Experience & Technical Skills
- 10–12 years of experience in Key Account Management, specifically handling a large automotive customer.
- Industry knowledge in Automotive & Energy Solutions is essential.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
