Please do not contact the recruiter directly.Job Summary•Middleware operations specialist with 10-18 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure. This role involves leading infrastructure automation, driving cloud adoption strategies, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in integration components such as Messaging infrastructure, Load Balancer setup, API Gateway and strong networking skills. •Application server configuration and tuning (JBoss). •Middleware security (SSL/TLS, SSO, LDAP integration). •Message-oriented middleware (Kafka, Solace). •API gateway management (Kong, AWS API Gateway). •F5 Load balancing and clustering setup. •Troubleshooting and log analysis for middleware platforms. •Scripting for automation (Shell, Python, PowerShell). •Middleware patching and upgrades. •High availability and disaster recovery configuration. Processes •Interacting with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood. •Work with the delivery / implementation teams to provide domain inputs and to ensure delivery and implementation of the proposed solution into Solution Design and Implementation methodologies. •Ability to work in Waterfall, Iterative or Agile methodology of SDLC, •Ensure adherence to standardized cloud and infra structure deployment processes, optimizing automation, security and scalability. •Locate and define new process improvement opportunities. Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness •Interfacing with business stakeholders for requirements management, prioritisation and documentation •Translate Product and business requirements into Solution Design and Technical Design artifacts. Regulatory & Business Conduct •Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct. •Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. •Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] •Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. •Serve as a Director of the Board •Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent) Key stakeholders •Solution Architect - SCPAY, Engineering and Design Leads •SCPAY - Sub Domain Leads and Hive Leads •Central Cloud Engineering team •Project Managers Other Responsibilities •Embed Here for good and Group's brand and values in ; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats).
