Job Summary

  • Middleware operations specialist with 10-18 years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud and on-premise infrastructure. This role involves leading infrastructure automation, driving cloud adoption strategies, and mentoring junior engineers. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in integration components such as Messaging infrastructure, Load Balancer setup, API Gateway and strong networking skills.
  • Application server configuration and tuning (JBoss).
  • Middleware security (SSL/TLS, SSO, LDAP integration).
  • Message-oriented middleware (Kafka, Solace).
  • API gateway management (Kong, AWS API Gateway).
  • F5 Load balancing and clustering setup.
  • Troubleshooting and log analysis for middleware platforms.
  • Scripting for automation (Shell, Python, PowerShell).
  • Middleware patching and upgrades.
  • High availability and disaster recovery configuration.

Processes

  • Interacting with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood.

  • Work with the delivery / implementation teams to provide domain inputs and to ensure delivery and implementation of the proposed solution into Solution Design and Implementation methodologies.

  • Ability to work in Waterfall, Iterative or Agile methodology of SDLC,

  • Ensure adherence to standardized cloud and infra structure deployment processes, optimizing automation, security and scalability.

  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Business

  • Interfacing with business stakeholders for requirements management, prioritisation and documentation
  • Translate Product and business requirements into Solution Design and Technical Design artifacts.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
  • Serve as a Director of the Board
  • Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)
