Senior Principal Middleware Consultant

Technology Deployment and Management Service (TDMS) organization is a critical arm of Oracle FLEXCUBE consulting group. TDMS delivers Oracle Technology services for FSGBU product customer, while the applications team focusses on the application customization and setup.

We are looking for a highly capable, self-motivated and independent Middleware Subject Matter experts based in India. Our MW team supports technology which are available both on-premise and on Cloud. In this role, you will be asked to organize and manage the Middleware instances to meet our objectives and maintain the highest customer satisfaction that is possible. To ensure success as a MW SME, you should possess extensive knowledge of Oracle Middleware architecture and 3rd party Middleware Architecture (IBM, Tomcat, etc.), as well as having experience in a similar role. 

The SME needs to have deep technical domain expertise, and will work closely with the Solution Architect team to help craft the solution and then continue to collaborate with the customer on

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead or assist other groups within the team with architecting, installing, and supporting technologies.
• Ability to understand business and technical requirements and develop a solution to meet those requirements.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new technology initiatives, especially those relating to Oracle Fusion Middleware
• Serves as key subject matter expert in the field of OFMW, maintaining a deep understanding of the field and its related technologies.
• Leverages technology to improve efficiency wherever practicable and appropriate.
• Answer technical portions of requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs)
• Identify the appropriate technologies to solve problems of our customers.
• Lead the planning, layout the solution architecture, perform technical analysis, design complex Integration and implement them, and lead day-to-day operations of Oracle Fusion Middleware based activity including upgrades/migrations from legacy and/or non-Oracle platforms.
• Lead Oracle Fusion Middleware based projects range from hands-on technical to advisory consulting support for Oracle specific technologies, including Oracle WebLogic Server (WLS), WebSphere, Tomcat, Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), Oracle SOA/BPM Suite, Oracle WebCenter Portal, Sites and Content, Oracle Identity & Access Management, OBIEE, OAS and ODI
• Perform as-is and to-be architecture analysis and develop physical and logical architecture models for the application, web and mid-tier environments.
• Ability to develop High-availability design, configuration, and maintenance, including clustering and load balancing for fusion middleware components.
• Understand and keep updated in current technology trends.
• Understand and have the ability to communicate relevant technologies.
• Ensure enterprise applications are running effectively at all times, which includes continuous monitoring and ensuring every reasonable effort is made to restore service as quickly as possible in the event of an outage.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple environments (DEV, TEST, QA, PRD, DR etc.,) effectively and account for differences in each environment.
• Support a 24×7 production environment (as part of an on-call support team).
• Ensure effective release management, change management and quality assurance in project life cycles is maintained.

Skills Desired:

• 10+ years of experience in overall Middleware Systems
• Ability to deploy and troubleshoot applications on various platforms in on Cloud and on premise.
• Candidate must possess good oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills (in English)
• Experience in working with Docker containers, Kubernetes.
• Experience in configuring DevOps CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies.
• Experience utilizing IaaS and PaaS Cloud based platforms.
• Familiarity with AI/ML model integration
