Billing Executive manages a company's billing processes, which includes preparing and issuing invoices, verifying data, tracking payments, and resolving customer inquiries about billing issues. Key responsibilities involve maintaining accurate customer accounts and financial records, adhering to company policies and regulations, and collaborating with internal teams like finance and customer support to ensure accurate and timely billing operations. 

Key Responsibilities

Invoice Management: Generate, review, and process accurate and timely invoices for customers based on services or sales. 

Data Verification: Verify the accuracy of billing information from various sources and correct any errors before issuing invoices. 

Account Management: Maintain and update customer accounts, including their balances and payment information. 

Payment Tracking: Monitor and track payments received, follow up on outstanding invoices, and manage collection efforts. 

Customer Service: Respond to and resolve billing-related customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally. 

Record Keeping: Maintain precise and complete billing records and financial reports. 

Compliance: Ensure all billing activities comply with company policies, financial regulations, and relevant laws. 

Process Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing improvements to billing procedures and systems. 

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field is often required. 

Experience: Previous experience in a billing or accounts receivable role is highly beneficial. 

Software Proficiency: Skill in using billing software and common office productivity tools like MS Office. 

Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational ability, analytical thinking, and excellent communication and customer service skills. 

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
