The job responsibilities of a Departmental Head of Reservations include creating and implementing reservation policies, monitoring reservation systems to ensure accuracy, analyzing booking data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, training and developing reservation agents, and collaborating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. The Departmental Head of Reservations is also responsible for managing the budget and ensuring that revenue targets are met.
A successful Departmental Head of Reservations needs to have strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and think creatively to find solutions to problems. This is a highly sought-after role in the hospitality industry, and the ideal candidate will have a degree in hospitality management or a related field, as well as several years of experience in a similar position.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Manage the reservation system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
· Train and supervise reservation staff to meet customer needs.
· Monitor room availability and occupancy rates.
· Develop pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
· Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
· Provide excellent customer service to resolve issues and address concerns.
· Analyze reservation data to identify trends and improve processes.
· Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in the market.
· Create and implement marketing campaigns to attract bookings.
· Oversee the creation of room blocks for group events.
Requirements
- Must have multi-franchise experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a Reservation Manager
- Ability to manage more than 20 staff members
- This is not a remote position; the candidate is required to be present in the office every day during working hours.
Salary
65,000 Rupees per month (Based upon experience)
