Job Description – Application Lead (SAP Project System – PS)

Position: Application Lead

Location: Bengaluru, India

Experience Required: Minimum 7.5 years in SAP Project System (PS)

Role Overview

As an Application Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design, build, and configuration of applications with a strong focus on SAP Project System (PS). Acting as the primary point of contact, you will drive collaboration across teams, oversee application development, and ensure successful project delivery that aligns with organizational goals. You will also provide technical expertise, guide your team in resolving complex issues, and contribute to strategic decision-making across multiple teams.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP Project System (PS).
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team, ensuring accountability for decisions and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to key organizational decisions.
  • Provide effective solutions to complex problems within the immediate team and across multiple teams.
  • Facilitate training and skill development opportunities for team members.
  • Oversee and monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
  • Ensure application design, configuration, and development meet organizational standards and business objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong expertise in SAP Project System (PS) with a minimum of 7.5 years of hands-on experience.
  • In-depth understanding of project management methodologies and their application in SAP PS.
  • Proven experience in application design, build, and configuration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues effectively.
  • Knowledge of integration processes and tools related to SAP PS.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and client-facing roles.
  • Familiarity with other SAP modules and cross-functional integrations.
