Strategic Finance IT Partnership

We seek a seasoned professional to serve as the strategic bridge between IT and Finance teams. This role demands deep SAP expertise (FICO & PS), strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, and the ability to evaluate, align, and deliver initiatives that drive measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary liaison between IT and Finance stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance leadership to intake, prioritize, and deliver finance-related initiatives.
  • Drive alignment with standard SAP processes, challenging non-standard requests when necessary.
  • Provide expertise in SAP FICO and PS modules—covering design, enhancements, and issue resolution.
  • Support integration of Finance with Procurement and other business functions.
  • Facilitate regular alignment meetings with Finance leadership for transparency and prioritization.
  • Ensure compliance, governance, and audit readiness for finance systems.
  • Oversee IT service management (incidents, requests, changes) for Finance/Procurement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on analytics and reporting initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 10–15 years of experience in SAP FICO and PS.
  • Strong knowledge of finance processes: AP, AR, GL, Asset Management, Controlling, Project Costing.
  • Proven ability to evaluate initiatives against SAP standards and propose best-fit solutions.
  • Experience as an IT Business Partner, Business Analyst, or Service Manager in Finance/Procurement.
  • Understanding of Procurement and Analytics integration with Finance.
  • Knowledge of ITIL-based service management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to engage senior executives.
  • Experience in SAP reporting and analytics (BW, SAC, BI).
