Our India office supports critical functions such as RFP development, research, data analysis, project management support, and more.We are expanding our India team and are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Proposal Writer to help us craft winning proposals and support business development initiatives.Role OverviewAs a Proposal Writer at Avero Advisors India, you will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from U.S. government agencies. You will collaborate closely with our U.S.-based consulting teams to produce high-quality, customized, and compelling proposal documents.Key Responsibilities- RFP Analysis: Review, analyze, and summarize RFP documents to understand requirements, evaluation criteria, and compliance obligations. - Proposal Writing: Write, edit, and format technical and non-technical sections of proposals, ensuring alignment with client specifications. - Content Development: Create and maintain a library of templates, boilerplates, and reusable content to streamline future RFP responses. - Compliance Management: Ensure all proposals meet mandatory compliance requirements outlined in RFP documents (e.g., page limits, forms, certifications). - Collaboration: Coordinate with subject matter experts (SMEs), project managers, and leadership teams to gather necessary inputs for proposals. - Quality Control: Perform rigorous reviews to ensure proposals are grammatically correct, persuasive, and well-structured. - Research: Conduct market research to enhance proposals with relevant data points, case studies, and industry best practices. - Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements for the RFP response lifecycle to improve efficiency and success rates.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Public Administration, Business, or a related field. - 4+ years of professional experience in RFP analysis, proposal writing, or business writing (preferably for U.S. or government clients). - Strong command of English — both written and verbal. - Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.Why Join Avero Advisors India?- Work with a U.S.-based, rapidly growing consulting firm. - Exposure to high-impact projects and proposal writing for government agencies. - Opportunities for skill development, certifications, and growth. - Collaborative and flexible work culture. - Competitive salary and performance incentives.
