Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimizeApache Flink streaming jobs . AdministerConfluent Cloud Kafkaenvironments. Develop and maintainJava-based streaming components . Enforcesecurity and compliance standards : TLS, RBAC/ACLs, schema governance, secrets management, and audit logging. Collaborate withdata engineers, SREs, and product teamsto define SLAs/SLOs and data contracts. Review designs and PRs, mentor engineers on streaming best practices, and contribute tostandards and documentation . Required Qualifications 7+ yearsbuilding streaming/data-in-motion solutions;3+ yearsfocused on Kafka (Confluent Cloud strongly preferred). 3+ yearshands-on experience withApache Flink (Flink SQL) ; expert in writing and tuning complex Flink queries. Strong troubleshooting skills withKafka and Flink . Excellent communication and documentation skills; ability to translate requirements into robust streaming designs. Nice to Have Experience withConfluent Cloud Flink (managed) ,ksqlDB , andKafka Streams . Cloud experience ( Azure ) and observability stacks ( Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana ).
