Position Responsibilities :

To support the aircraft structural design, development, CAD modeling and Drafting of part and assembly drawings. Create / Update /Review the CATIA based drawings based on final agreed design changes and approved customer design standards. Perform configuration changes using the PDM Independently plan, schedule and perform QC check and guide the team. In this role, the engineer is responsible for the first-time quality and on time delivery of their team. This position will be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with team members in customer organizations and shall provide periodic update on project progress, quality metrics, project summaries, and other related documents. Perform independently or with very limited guidance from customer. Should be flexible to work, to meet project targets.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical or equivalent disciplines and 5+ Years of relevant Work experience in structure design.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience in design of various aircraft structural components. Design and development of Fuselage metallic parts (Primary and secondary) Layout Definition Experience – Floor panels, Splices- Body Integration Brackets Design OEM process specs and design standards knowledge Material selection and properties, Good understanding of Fasteners- selections & applications, Manufacturing methods, coatings & finishes, drawing interpretation, drawing creation & review. GD&T, Tolerance stack up analysis, DFMA Tool knowledge:Primary: Catia V5 (Part design, assembly, GSD, Drawing creation), Enovia, PDM, IVTSecondary: PSDS, REDARS Experience quality checking procedures and best practices. Have high focus on the quality of deliverables. Able to independently work or lead the group of engineers, able to perform planning estimation and scheduling. Experience of independently developing designs using CAD Tools (CATIA primarily) for Modeling, Drafting. Able to perform independently or with limited guidance from SME. Perform with positive attitude and highest ethics.
