Raga Engineers is a 27 years old company, situated in the New Industrial Area of Faridabad. Raga Engineers is into manufacturing consumables and peripherals for the die casting industry. It has been serving the Automotive OEMs & Tier-1s both in India and abroad.


Company is managed by a very dynamic industry leader Mr Rahat A Bhatia, who is an Engineering Graduate and leading the Industry for the last 29 years. The team at Raga is more than 80 people , who are growing every year along with the growth of the company.


Company is in expansion mode and is looking for a Design cum Manufacturing Asst Manager for their machine building department (MBD) who can make ready drawings and BOMs project wise, also plan and supervise manufacturing activities in the shop floor.


Raga has two major divisions. The machine building division builds equipment like Jet Cooling & Vacuum System for die casting. While the parts division produces consumable parts out of alloy steel. 

The company has a very well structured set up. Company’s office timings are 9 am - 6 pm with 6 days working in a week. Salaries or any other dues are paid ON TIME on 10th of every month. Official SIM card will be provided to the candidate.

Jobs and Responsibilities of Design cum Manufacturing Asst Manager:

  • Plan scope of work for design and manufacturing & do project planning on the basis of inputs of sale order and quotations received.
  • Preparation of feasibility check for all parts involved in manufacturing of the project.
  • Understands hydraulic fittings, pipes and hoses of exact specifications feasible for assembly in the design
  • Identify design changes & improvements. Rectify the same in the design and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop standards for all segments included in a machine design.
  • Make & standardize bill of material (BOM), project wise including all parts in one go as per design.
  • Make 2D and 3D drawings as per feasibility and availability of parts through self and team. 
  • Prepare electrical drawings, implementing sensors and other electrical parts in design and BOM.
  • Keep detailed records, save all drawings and BOM data in a well defined and easy to search in Google Drive.
  • Plan daily, weekly work plans for the manufacturing team and conduct meetings on a daily basis for the progress.
  • Solve assembly, manufacturing & manpower issues at the shop floor.
  • Look after manufacturing at vendor end and ensure as per design
  • Prepare monthly machine dispatch plans and ensuring on time dispatches
  • Prepare quality & testing parameters checklists for incoming, inprocess and final for all parts, sub assemblies and final assembly. 

Who can FIT in to this role:


  • Having 5-7 years of experience in a role of design and Manufacturing on equipment / machines / SPM (or equivalent).
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Should be able to comprehend drawings, global quality standards and technical specifications.
  • Hands on with Google drive/sheets, 3D softwares like Solidworks, MS office.
  • Strong communication & team player with effective interpersonal & leadership skills.
  • Aptitude in decision making and problem-solving.
  • Flexible to visit vendors wherever needed.
  • Candidate should reside within 15 Kms of Raga Engineers with self conveyance.
