The GM Leasing will be responsible for driving the given leasing strategy of the mall, ensuring an optimal brand mix achieved within the timeframes defined, and maximizing revenue through efficient space utilization. At least one large-format destination mall (1M sq. ft.+). or mandate to expand a brand to at-least 35+ LocationsKey responsibilities include:- Identifying, approaching, and finalizing deals with anchor tenants, international brands, and high-street retailers.- Developing zone-wise leasing strategies (e.g., fashion, F&B, home & lifestyle, fitness & entertainment).- Building and nurturing relationships with brand groups (RBL, Apparel Group, Arvind, ABFRL, Myntra Global, etc.).- Coordinating with marketing and operations teams to align leasing with mall positioning.- Conducting catchment analysis and benchmarking against top performing malls.- Ensuring leasing agreements are legally sound and aligned with company policies.- Monitoring occupancy, rental yields, and long-term tenant retention.Specific skills or requirement, if any.- Strong relationships with national and international retail brands across fashion, F&B, lifestyle, and entertainment.- Experience in structuring anchor and mini-anchor leases.- Ability to curate and implement brand-mix strategies for premium and value zones.- Excellent negotiation and closing skills.- Familiarity with catchment analysis, footfall projections, and rental matrix MBA / PG in Marketing, Real Estate, or equivalent discipline.- 12-15 years in retail real estate leasing, with proven expertise in brand-mix strategy, anchor tenant negotiations, and Group Brands.
