The position is for a luxury fine dining restaurant property located in Indira Nagar, Bangalore. It's an Omakase style restaurant concept opening doors on 15th September, having 25 covers to ensure an exclusive dining experience. We have an APC on 6000-8000 per person for one dining experience. We are looking for someone who excels in Japanese cuisine.


Responsibilities:


- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of Japanese and Continental culinary excellence.

- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to design and implement seasonal menus and recipes.

- Manage and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.

- Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs to ensure budget adherence.

- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations.

- Innovate and introduce new dishes to enhance the dining experience.

- Handle special dietary requests and guest inquiries with professionalism.


Qualifications:


- Proven experience in Japanese and Continental cuisine, with a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary techniques.

- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a kitchen team.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
