Essential capabilities & Experience


  • Minimum HR experience of 8-15 years including proven ER experience of 5-8 years within a large corporate environment, preferably in the finance sector or professional services.
  • Proven experience in providing commercial and pragmatic solutions to employee relations and individual employment matters.
  • Strong people skills and stakeholder building capability.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with senior leaders.
  • Strong communication & presentation Skills.


Key Accountabilities


  • Provide commercial and pragmatic advice and support to HR and business leaders on a wide range of employee relations and individual employment matters which require specialist employment advice, including but not limited to misconduct, employment grievances/disputes, whistleblowing matters and under performance.
  • Lead formal investigations into employee conduct, including workplace bullying, harassment and discrimination matters.
  • Interpret and advise on application of employment and industrial local laws, regulations, and workplace policies.
  • Support the development of people leader capability including conducting training and preparing knowledge articles and guidance on key employment and industrial relations issues.
  • Engage with and influence business stakeholders to achieve optimal results for the business and ultimately our customers.
  • Provide support on internal projects requiring specialist employee relations and/or industrial input, including those involving major organisational change and/or union engagement
  • Drive quality and productivity improvements in relation to employee relations issues.

Qualification Requirements


  • Post graduation preferably in Human resources.
