Description :We are seeking a skilled and proactive Microsoft 365 Administrator with deep experience in managing, securing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 environments.In addition to core Microsoft 365 responsibilities, the role includes internal IT operations such as laptop provisioning, endpoint lifecycle management, IT troubleshooting, and asset governance to ensure a seamless and secure digital workplace.Key Responsibilities :Microsoft 365 Administration & Security :- Upgrade Microsoft 365 licenses (Business Basic Business Premium).- Deploy Microsoft Defender for Business across all organization laptops.- Configure and manage Intune for device enrollment, compliance, Windows update policies, encryption, and endpoint security.- Create and enforce Conditional Access policies (Microsoft Entra ID P1) to allow access only from compliant, company-managed devices.- Implement MFA, device restrictions, session controls, and exception workflows.Endpoint Management & Internal IT Operations (Newly Added) :- Provision, configure, and deploy company laptops for new hires (Windows Autopilot preferred).- Install and manage OS upgrades, drivers, and hardware-level configurations.- Troubleshoot endpoint issues (network, OS, application errors, performance, login issues).- Manage hardware lifecycle (inventory, repairs, replacements, returns, AMC coordination).- Maintain internal IT asset tracking (laptops, monitors, accessories, software licenses).- Assist users with daily IT support requests through ticketing system (L1/L2).- Configure network devices (Wi-Fi, printers, access points) as required for internal IT needs.- Manage local IT escalations for outages, latency, authentication, or device compliance issues.Secure Collaboration & File Sharing Governance :- Configure secure sharing settings in SharePoint & OneDrive.- Disable external sharing by default; create controlled exceptions.- Implement DLP, sensitivity labels, and secure file-sharing frameworks.- Train users on secure collaboration practices.Microsoft Teams Configuration & Governance :- Maintain and update the Organization Chart in Teams Admin Center.- Add, configure, and govern custom apps pinned in Teams navigation.- Enforce app permission policies, app setup policies, and governance standards.Email & Collaboration Security :- Configure and manage Exchange Online Protection (EOP) anti-spam, anti-phishing, safe links, safe attachments.- Monitor security alerts and take action on suspicious email or sign-in activity.Security Deployment & Access Control :- Deploy and onboard Microsoft Defender (AV, EDR, next-gen protection) via Intune.- Configure device security policies (BitLocker, password rules, USB control, patch management).- Conduct pilot rollouts (e.g., 35 devices), monitor device readiness, and scale deployment organization-wide.- Block non-compliant or unregistered devices using Conditional Access rules.- Enable logging and monitor access, device health, and sharing activities in M365 Security Center, Entra ID, and Intune.Documentation & Compliance :- Document configurations, policies, architecture decisions, and SOPs.- Maintain compliance with internal IT governance and security frameworks.- Generate monthly compliance and license utilization reports.- Follow ITIL processes for change management, incident handling, and configuration management.Required Skills & Qualifications :- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Intune, and Defender for Business.- Working knowledge of Conditional Access, device compliance, and identity governance.- Hands-on experience with SharePoint/OneDrive admin and Teams admin settings.- Experience in endpoint protection, patching, compliance, and security policy design.- Strong IT troubleshooting skills (hardware + OS + network fundamentals).- Experience supporting internal IT operations and end-user computing.- Good communication, documentation, and root-cause analysis skills.- SharePoint PowerApps knowledge is a plus.Preferred Certifications :- MS-500 - Security Administrator- MD-102 - Endpoint Administrator- MS-700 - Teams Administrator- AZ-104 (nice to have)Why Join BXI Technologies?- Lead innovation in AI, Cloud, and Cybersecurity with top-tier partners.- Be part of a forward-thinking team driving digital transformation.- Access to cutting-edge technologies and continuous learning opportunities.- Competitive compensation and performance-based incentives.- Flexible and dynamic work environment based in India.About BXI Tech :BXI Tech is a purpose-driven technology company, backed by private equity and focused on delivering innovation in engineering, AI, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions.We combine deep tech expertise with a commitment to creating value for both businesses and communities.Our ecosystem includes BXI Ventures, which invests across technology, healthcare, real estate, and hospitality, and BXI Foundation, which leads impactful initiatives in education, healthcare, and care homes.Together, we aim to drive sustainable growth and meaningful social impact (ref:hirist.tech)
