Job Summary


A process analyst focuses on partnering with consultants and client teams to understand current processes, produce process maps, and recommend improvements. Process analysts can meet during some US morning times to collaborate with clients and the core consulting team to gain a deep understanding of processes and systems currently in use. Process analysts produce stellar materials across service areas, with a particular focus in operational excellence. Process analysts use communication and design thinking to ensure process documentation is clear, comprehensive, and designed to enable improvements. This role requires the ability to adapt, communicate effectively to different audiences, and have a passion to inform, engage, inspire and motivate people.


Job Duties


Job Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, design, develop, and iterate on process maps with the goal of supporting and accelerating the broader outcomes of our client engagements.
  • Understanding of processes in order to cash, procure to pay, record to report, enterprise asset management, direct and indirect tax, manufacturing, and supply chain are preferred.
  • Additional documentation requirements can include capturing roles and responsibilities and procedural steps.
  • Builds effective partnerships with engagement leads to deliver and execute on engagements. Ask good questions. Thinks diagnostically, quickly analyzes scenarios, and “connects the dots” to determine the most effective, creative solutions. Able to adapt working style to a variety of teams.
  • Uses strong listening skills and design-thinking capabilities to participate in effective brainstorming and collaboration internally.
  • Can partner with a consultant team to guide clients through a journey of discovery, learning, understanding, and transformation.
  • Presents their work effectively, clearly articulating the proposed solutions.
  • Proactively surfaces opportunities, problems, challenges, and risks. Can effectively troubleshoot and work through difficult situation and knows when to escalate.
  • Stays current with best practices and leverages industry thought leadership and trends.
  • A team player with strong intellectual curiosity, industrious and willing to learn new capabilities.
  • Able to effectively collaborate and manage multiple priorities, articulating conflicts and seeking clarity of goals.
  • Comfortable working independently or collaboratively.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


Education:

Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred

Strong verbal and written comprehension skills in English



Experience and Skills:

  • Up to 3-6 years of relevant experience in process mapping
  • Microsoft Proficiency (i.e., Microsoft’s Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, etc.).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in visualizing complex data.
  • Excellent written, creative, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work across tight timelines.
  • Able to collaborate at least 3 hours a day in Eastern Standard Time.
