Job Description:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Specialist - Software Engineering with a focus on iOS development to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in iOS development, with a strong understanding of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines. You will work closely with our design team to define app features, ensure application quality, and resolve potential problems. You will also be responsible for maintaining the code and implementing application updates.


Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

2. Proven experience of 8-12 years as an app developer.

3. Proficiency in Objective-C, Swift, and Cocoa Touch.

4. Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.

5. Knowledge of iOS back-end services.

6. Understanding of Apple’s design principles and application interface guidelines.

7. Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.

8. Knowledge of C-based libraries and familiarity with push notifications, APIs, and cloud messaging.

9. Experience with continuous integration.

10. Must have experience in Native iOS.


Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design and development of mobile applications for Apple’s iOS platform.

2. Collaborate with the design team to define app features and ensure they align with user needs.

3. Ensure quality and performance of the application as per the specifications.

4. Identify potential issues and troubleshoot application bottlenecks.

5. Fix application bugs before the final release and maintain the code thereafter.

6. Publish applications on the App Store following all necessary guidelines and procedures.

7. Design and implement application updates in a timely manner.

8. Practice continuous integration, maintaining high-quality code and automating processes for efficiency.

9. Assume an Architect role when necessary, guiding and mentoring junior developers.
