About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Korean Language Expert to support the development of AI models by ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and creative adaptability in Korean. In this role, you will craft high-quality written content, evaluate human- and AI-generated text, and contribute to projects that advance AI's understanding of language and culture.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your expertise in Korean with creativity, critical thinking, and editorial skills while working with global AI research teams in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop accurate, engaging, and contextually appropriate written responses in Korean for a variety of prompts.
  • Evaluate and review both human- and AI-generated content for accuracy, tone, clarity, safety, and cultural alignment.
  • Provide detailed linguistic assessments, focusing on style, nuance, bias, clarity, and intent.
  • Conduct peer reviews of linguistic contributions to maintain consistency and quality.
  • Design creative content such as prompts, role-play scenarios, games, and thought experiments to test and challenge AI capabilities.
  • Explore cultural aspects of Korean language use, including idioms, humor, irony, and traditions.

Qualifications

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Korean with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Strong English-language communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Korean writing, editing, or content creation with command over tone, style, and genre.
  • In-depth knowledge of Korean culture, idioms, humor, and societal nuances.
  • Experience in linguistics, translation, teaching, or language-related projects preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and refine text for clarity, engagement, and accuracy.
  • Willingness to complete a Korean writing skills assessment during the selection process.
