The Vertical Head is responsible for leading the organization’s vigilance framework, focusing on risk assessment, developing prevention strategies, detection, investigation, and resolution of misconduct, fraud, and ethical violations. Both the role involves implementing preventive strategies, corrective actions, ensuring accountability, and fostering a culture of complia

1. Policy and Framework Develo

pment:- Develop and implement vigilance policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and compliance require

ments.- Establish guidelines for investigating misconduct and ensuring appropriate disciplinary actions are


taken.
2. Risk Assessment and Mana

gement:- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities within operational pro

cesses.- Develop and execute action plans to address identified risks and enhance internal co


ntrols.
3. Investigation O

versight- Lead investigations into allegations of policy violations, fraud, and misconduct, ensuring thoroughness and obje

ctivity.- Coordinate with legal, HR, and external agencies to handle complex cases effe


ctively.
4. Monitoring and Co

mpliance:- Monitor compliance with measures and ensure adherence to established

policies.- Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of processes and make necessary impr


ovements.
5. Reporting and

Analysis:- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, investigations, and compliance status for senior management and regulatory au

thorities.- Analyze trends in misconduct and ethical violations to identify areas for improvement and preventive


measures.
6. Training and

Awareness:- Develop training materials and programs to educate employees on the importance of compliance, reporting mechanisms, and the consequences of policy

violations.- Promote a culture of integrity and accountability within the or

llaboration:- Work closely with internal audit, compliance, and legal teams to align vigilance strategies with overall risk managemen

t practices.- Engage with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies related to punitive measures and
