We are always moving forward - always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.The Role The "C&N Contract Professional" position involves providing commercial and contract guidance to the business organization and other functions, drafting and negotiating agreements that accurately specify the business relationships between Kyndryl and clients, alliances, partners, and other companies, and supporting account teams by managing contracts through post-signing contract management activities such as follow-on client negotiations, amendments, contract changes, formal communications, extensions, claims, and termination. The role requires developing working relationships with clients, effectively representing Kyndryl, representing clients within Kyndryl, concluding sound contract negotiations, and performing efficient contract management. Effective communication and negotiation with all levels within Kyndryl, clients, suppliers, partners, and their external representatives are essential. For international contracts, the role entails interfacing with teams in other countries and ensuring the agreement accurately reflects Kyndryl's capabilities in all countries within scope. The position requires experience in contract negotiation, contract management, and leadership capabilities for face-to-face interactions with senior executives of clients' organisations, client external advisors, including outside counsel, and stakeholders within Kyndryl. This role also requires collaboration with the general Legal organisation and partnering with Kyndryl transaction lawyers involved in certain contract negotiations and post-signing activities. Each C&N Contract Professional is responsible for supporting several accounts, which may span multiple countries. Priority Accounts require proactive support from the C&N Contract Professional, based on insights gathered from the Account Team to anticipate needs and provide guidance and advice as needed. Key Responsibilities Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are favorable to the organization and compliant with legal standards.Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in contract terms and propose appropriate solutions to mitigate those risks.Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve optimal contract terms and conditions.Contract Management: Lead follow-on client negotiations, amendments, contract changes, formal communications, extensions, claims, and termination events with clients and suppliers.Compliance: Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth negotiations and contract execution.Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all contracts and negotiations, ensuring easy retrieval and review.Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, legal developments, and best practices in contract management and negotiationYour Future at Kyndryl Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career. And finally, you're open and borderless - naturally inclusive in how you work with others Required Technical and Professional Experience: Minimum 6-8 years' experience incontract management and/or negotiations,preferably in the technology services sector.Experience negotiating opposite sophisticated inside and outside counsels.Candidates must possess written and verbal multilingual capabilities, including English and at least one additional language relevant to the APAC and MEA regions (e.g., Thai, Bahasa, Korean), for contract drafting and negotiations.Having relevant in-house experience in a multinational organization is very desirable, but not a pre-requisite.Preferred Technical and Professional Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, law, or equivalent.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.Maintain high ethical standards in negotiations and contract management.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Being You Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it's how we think and who we are.
