We are hiring a detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our team in Hennur, Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

  • Drafting and vetting pleadings, affidavits, petitions, written statements, legal notices, and applications before Civil Courts, Consumer Forums, NCLT, RERA, and Arbitral Tribunals.
  • Managing end-to-end litigation - filings, evidence, arguments, client updates, and coordination with external counsel.
  • Conducting legal research, case law analysis, and strategic advisory on ongoing and prospective disputes.
  • Preparing briefs, hearing notes, and case summaries for senior advocates and clients.

Contracts & Commercial Work

  • Drafting and reviewing agreements such as NDAs, MoUs, Supply Agreements, Lease Deeds, Service Contracts, Consultancy Agreements, and Employment Contracts.
  • Assisting in contract negotiations and preparing redline and comparison drafts for client approvals.
  • Ensuring all contracts are aligned with business objectives, risk exposure, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintaining and updating contract trackers and supporting document execution and archival processes.

Real Estate & Documentation

  • Conducting title verification and property due diligence (including EC, Khata, Patta/Chitta, and other municipal records).
  • Drafting and reviewing Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, Gift Deeds, Power of Attorney, and Joint Development Agreements (JDA).
  • Preparing Title Search Reports (TSRs) and Due Diligence Reports (DDRs) in the firm's standard format.
  • Coordinating with clients, sub-registrar offices, and surveyors for execution and registration-related formalities.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of civil and procedural law, contract law, property law, and consumer protection law.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Sound knowledge of contract management and compliance workflows.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments independently.
  • Proficiency with legal research databases, MS Office, and digital tools for documentation and e-filing.
  • Professional demeanor and client-facing communication skills.

Who You Are:

  • A law graduate with 6 months to 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of Indian contract law.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to read and write in Kannada is compulsory
