Position: Aveva PI Project ManagerExperience: 10-12 yrsJob Location: RemoteJob Overview:We are looking for a Technical Project Manager with 10–12 years of experience leading complex digital transformation programs in industrial environments. This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, driving impactful solutions that deliver impactful solutions.The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in the AVEVA ecosystem, strong knowledge of digitalization strategies, and stakeholder alignment to deliver impactful solutions. The candidate will bring a client-focused approach, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively manage projects and ensure successful outcomes.Roles and Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end digitalization projects, leveraging AVEVA solutions like System Platform, MES, PI, HMI, SCADA, Insight, and Predictive Analytics. -Partner with cross-functional teams—including engineering, operations, IT, and vendors—to define project scope, design architectures, and deliver high-quality digital solutions. -Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risk analyses, resource allocation, and status reporting. -Ensure technical feasibility, monitor risks, and maintain scope control, initiating change management as needed. -Serve as client-facing lead: deliver project updates, communicate strategic direction, and build trust through clear, effective dialogue. -Closely work with the Sales team. -Facilitate solution architecture and hands-on implementation, potentially including AVEVA PI configurations (PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, PI Vision, etc.). -Provide user training, perform post-implementation support, and create comprehensive documentation of system configurations and best practices. -Orchestrate project close-out, ensuring deliverables, documentation, and lessons learned are finalized and shared.Skills- Exceptional communication and client engagement—capable of leading meetings, delivering strategic updates, and aligning technical solutions with client objectives. - Exceptional written Communication skills - Leadership driven and client oriented ensuring project outcomes to client objectives - Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail under pressure. - Skilled in project documentation, including functional specifications, design documents and test plans - Proficient in managing conflict and negotiating timelines. - Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and attention to detail. - Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills - Adaptable, collaborative, and adept at influencing cross-functional teams.Experience and Qualification-12–14 years in technical project management roles, ideally within industrial automation, digitalization, or AVEVA-focused environments. -Hands-on expertise with multiple AVEVA products: e.g., System Platform, MES, PI System, SCADA, Digital Operations Control, Insight, Predictive Analytics, and more. -Proven track record delivering complex digital transformation projects, including architecture design, system integration, and cutover execution. -Strong knowledge of project management methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, PMBOK standards, risk mitigation, stakeholder management, and resource planning. -Technical fluency in industrial systems (SQL, .NET, DCS/PLC integration), and familiarity with AVEVA implementation practices. -Expertise in training end users, troubleshooting system issues, and establishing governance documentation and standards. -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, or related field. -Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile frameworks) are a plus. -AVEVA certifications or hands-on experience with the CONNECT Ecosystem preferred.Work TimingsMonday - Friday
