Job Opening: PI System Engineer / AdministratorRole Overview We are looking for a skilled PI System Engineer / Administrator to support HZL’s PI ecosystem. The role involves administration, monitoring, integration, reporting, and cybersecurity compliance for OSIsoft PI System and related automation. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams (Operations, IT, Quality, Digital) to ensure high availability, security, and optimal utilization of the PI System.Key Responsibilities · Monitor and administer PI System servers, interfaces, and applications (24x7). · Manage PI Data Archive, Asset Framework (AF), Vision, Interfaces, and Connectors. · Ensure uptime, backups, patching, and disaster recovery readiness. · Integrate new assets and support third-party system integrations (SAP, LIMS, Power BI, Azure). · Develop and maintain PI Vision dashboards, resolve data issues, and generate KPI reports. · Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, manage SSL certificates and access roles. · Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive automation improvements.Skills & Experience · 3–6 years of experience in PI System administration/support. · Hands-on expertise in PI Data Archive, AF, Vision, Interfaces, Connectors. · Strong experience with OPC, MQTT, REST APIs, Modbus, SQL, RDBMS. · Knowledge of SAP/LIMS integration, Python, SQL, and .NET scripting. · Understanding of Windows server administration and cybersecurity best practices. · Strong problem-solving, incident management, and root cause analysis skills. · Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Soft Skills · Strong communication and stakeholder engagement. · Ability to work under pressure in 24x7 environments. · Documentation and SOP preparation skills.
