We are seeking a Lead Product Designer with a passion for gaming. As a Lead Product Designer at our gaming company, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and visual design of our gaming products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, game developers, and user researchers, to create innovative and engaging experiences for our players.

Responsibilities

User Experience (UX) Design:

  • Ability to conduct and understand user research to understand player needs, behaviors, and preferences.
  • Create user journeys, mockups, prototypes, storyboards, and

presentations to effectively communicate design ideas.

  • Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for games, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable player journey.
  • Pitch and present concepts, proposals, and updates to stakeholders and translate complex concepts and interactions into simple, elegant, and coherent design.

Visual Design and System:

  • Develop visually stunning and cohesive design elements while working closely with other designers and brand teams.
  • Maintain consistency in design across different platforms and devices.
  • Proficiency in building Design Systems and Prototyping frameworks.

Prototyping and Iteration:

  • Create interactive prototypes to test and iterate on design concepts.
  • Gather feedback from play-testing and user testing sessions to refine and improve designs.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the implementation aligns with the intended design.

Research and Stay Updated:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies in the gaming space.
  • Apply insights from gaming and design research to enhance the
  • overall user experience.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • At Baazi, we prioritise product principles and gamers first approach.
  • 5-8 years of professional experience on a product design team
  • Proven experience in all phases of the design process including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
  • Ability to lead a team/POD towards end user goals
  • Knowledge of relevant tools like Figma, Photoshop, After Effects
