Company: Koorsi & CompanyRole : AccountantLocation: Pune (On-site)Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleKoorsi & Company is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support our growing furniture brand with proper financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting entries (sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, payments)Handle GST filing, monthly reconciliation, and compliancePrepare balance sheets, P&L statements, and financial reportsPerform bank reconciliation and maintain cash flow statementsReconcile accounts and ensure timely payment of invoices and follow-up on outstanding receivables.Coordinate with auditors for yearly auditsMaintain and update vendor/customer accounts and ledgersTrack inventory records and reconcile stock when neededUpdate day to day sheets, and stocks management.Handle employee reimbursements, salary payments, and other payroll-related transactions.Support management with financial analysis and MIS reportingMaintain accuracy and confidentiality of financial data.Skills & Qualifications: Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting is a must. Candidates with 70% and above is a plus. A CA Inter or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) qualification is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the engineering or construction industry.Solid understanding of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and tax regulations.Skills:Proficiency in Tally ERP, SAP, or other accounting software.Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance in India.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
